Fortunately there are many ways of treating acne with acne home remedies and here are some of them. Tea-tree oils are a natural germ killer and are very good for killing bacteria on the surface of the skin. Tea-tree oil is one of the concentrated acne remedies so add only a few drops to water and use this solution to cleanse the face. You can take a little honey and add a few drops of this oil to make a face pack. If you have acne on other parts of your body you can put about 10 drops of tea-tree oil in your bath water. You can also use the honey and tea-tree mix on affected areas about 15 minute before showering.
The gel from the aloe vera plant is also one of the very effective acne remedies. This gel is composed of enzymes that fight inflammation and will kill bacteria as well. Aloe vera can also be taken internally and will help with detoxification of the digestive tract.
Some of the fruits that make great acne remedies are watermelon, strawberry, and papaya. These are some of the fast acne remedies.
Warm salt water is another way to wash away oil and dirt and will not irritate any present acne. After washing with salt water splash on a little cold water and then apply a moisturizer if you have dry skin.
If scarring has already taken place here are some acne scar remedies. Get some fresh limes or lemons and squeeze out the juice. Apply this citrus juice directly to your scars. Allow your skin to absorb the juice for a few minutes and then wash with clear water. Mint leaves can be crushed and used as one of the homemade acne remedies for scars. Place the leaves in a piece of cloth and crush to release the juice. Use the juice all over your face. This is another of the great acne home remedies for scars.
